School Closure at 1:00pm Thursday 25th June

School Closure at 1:00pm Thursday 25th June

Due to the high temperatures and our inability to effectively regulate classroom temperatures during the afternoon, we have made the decision to close the school at 1:00pm on Thursday 25th June.

Please collect your child from their usual gate or classroom door at 1:00pm.

The safety and wellbeing of our children and staff remain our priority. We regularly monitor and record classroom temperatures throughout the day and will continue to assess conditions carefully. Decisions regarding any future changes to the school day will be made on a day-by-day basis based on the temperatures recorded and the forecast conditions.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.

Fantastic achievements on the pitch!

We are incredibly proud to share the fantastic achievements of Ikjyot Kaur and Seva Singh, who recently enjoyed an unforgettable experience at Old Trafford during the Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest match.

Ikjyot was honoured with the amazing opportunity to be a mascot for Manchester United, proudly walking out onto the pitch alongside the players in front of approximately 74,000 spectators. What an incredible achievement and a memory that will last a lifetime!

To make the day even more special, both Ikjyot and Seva Singh were invited onto the pitch at half-time to take penalties against Manchester United’s mascot, Fred the Red. Seva described the experience as “a dream come true.”

We are absolutely delighted for both children and so proud of all they have achieved. Their confidence, enthusiasm and excitement truly reflect the wonderful spirit of our pupils, and we are thrilled that they had the opportunity to enjoy such a special day with their family.

A huge congratulations to Ikjyot and Seva Singh on this memorable achievement!

Children have their stories published!

Our budding writers have done it again, 48 of them have had their story published in a new book

We have put a copy of the book in each library for the children to enjoy, and some parents have purchased their own copy too.

World Book Day 2026!

World Book Day took place on the 5th March 2026 and once again, it was a huge success!
It was great to see so many children dress up as a character from their favourite books.
Parents came in to classes to share in the reading experience and talk about their favourite books.

We thoroughly encourage all our children to read !

Our Teachers always enjoy getting involved as can be seen in our gallery below!

Mexican Day at School!

Today pupils enjoyed a delicious Mexican-themed lunch, bringing a taste of Mexico to the dining hall. The menu included tasty chicken tacos, vegan mince tacos and jacket potatoes with assorted fillings, alongside chilli chips and a sweetcorn and pepper mix.

To finish, pupils tucked into doughnut bites with chocolate sauce or fresh fruit.

It was wonderful to see so many pupils trying something new and enjoying the vibrant flavours of the day.

A big thank you to our catering team for organising such a fun and tasty themed lunch!
